VALUES
"It horrifies me that Ethics is only an optional extra at Harvard Business School." Sir John Harvey-Jones
It horrifies us too. That's why we have a set of values that underpin everything we stand for and aspire to be...
We hope our values resonate with you.
To learn more about our Values click on: Privacy and Diversity
At Deep Blue Associates, we take the privacy of sources, candidates and clients very seriously. We operate to a strict code of ethics that places a heavy emphasis on protecting confidentiality. We are also registered as a data controller for the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998. We will ensure that the data which you supply to us is processed only for the purposes as set out below and in accordance with relevant legislation and codes.
These are our guiding principles:
Executive searches rely upon the ability to glean commentary and information from a variety of sources that may lead to the identification of appropriate candidates. Whilst under no contractual obligation to these sources, Deep Blue Associates undertakes to maintain the highest standards of honesty, confidentiality and consideration when dealing with them and will only hold, use and process such information to facilitate the placing of candidates.
At Deep Blue Associates, we have deliberately fostered a professional environment where differences of gender, sexual orientation, marital status, physical ability, age, race, colour, nationality, ethnicity, religious and political affiliation are both respected and actively welcomed. We believe that diversity matters. It enriches organisations. And this belief is ingrained in our whole approach to specialist technology-related recruitment and talent development.
Our mission is to help clients locate, select, empower and retain the most talented professionals. It's a very single-minded goal. One that's underpinned by an equally single-minded working principle: merit is the only acceptable form of discrimination.
To ensure that we live by our principles, we have an HR team - headed by Fran Middleton - that monitors not only our own practices but also developments in UK and EU employment, equality and diversity law.
Working in partnership with leading employment law practices, this team assesses the impact and implication of all historic and contemporary legislation. It also keeps a watching brief on Case Law - the critical area where judgement clarifies ambiguity and establishes clear legal precedent.
Regular briefings - given by Fran and her legal experts - ensure that every member of our team is kept fully aware of all developments.
Diversity is certainly not an abstraction at Deep Blue Associates. It is a guiding principle. |
